Job Summary:
Upsqill Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Web Content Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, updating, and optimizing web content across multiple platforms to enhance user engagement and experience. This role requires technical proficiency and creativity, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with the company’s brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management:
- Create, edit, and publish web content on our website and other digital platforms.
- Ensure that all content is engaging, up-to-date, and reflects the company’s messaging and branding guidelines.
- Content Optimization:
- Optimize web pages for performance and search engine visibility (SEO), ensuring that content is accessible, fast-loading, and mobile-friendly.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and IT teams to implement content strategies and ensure seamless integration across digital platforms.
- Develop and execute web content plans in line with marketing and business objectives.
- Website Maintenance:
- Perform regular website audits to ensure all content is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any technical issues as they arise.
- Manage CMS (Content Management System) tools to streamline content updates and workflow.
- User Experience (UX) Enhancement:
- Continuously improve the usability and user experience of the company’s digital platforms through strategic content placements and website enhancements.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor web content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and provide regular reports with actionable insights for improvements.
- Web Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that content complies with web security protocols, accessibility standards, and GDPR regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, managing web content using a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web content implementation.
- Proven experience with SEO and Google Analytics.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CMS tools for web content management.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, web performance optimization, and basic web development.
- Familiarity with web security standards and GDPR compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions:
- The role is based in London, with regular working hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
